PURPOSE:To settle the running noise in early summer morning and obtaina highly efficient solar water heater by a method wherein the duration of insolation during a day is measured by the output of an insolation sensor and the running of a heat transporting device is started by putting off its time in response to the duration of insolation. CONSTITUTION:Signals of an insolation sensor 8 are inputted to an integration circuit 11 so as to actuate a delay circuit 12 in response to the duration of insolation by a signal, which causes, for example, the delay of 1hr when the duration of insolation exceeds 10hr and the delay of 2hr when the duration of insolation exceeds 12hr and which is judged simultaneously with the insolation starting signal of the following day in order to be inputted to a temperature control circuit 13. The temperature control circuit 13 judges the presence or absence of thermal request by the signal sent from a temperature sensor. When both the thermal request and the running signal from the delay circuit are present, the temperature control circuit 13 energizes the coil 14 of a power relay in order to start the running of a heat transporting device 3. |
