PURPOSE:To eliminate sharp edge at the circumferential section thus to improve safety by providing margin of about pi times of the thickness at the end section to the circumferential end section of cell then folding said section in round. CONSTITUTION:Power generating element comprising a negative electrode lithium 2, a separator 5, positive electrode black mix 4, etc. is held between nickel sheet terminal board 1 which will serve as negative electrode current collector and a stainless steel sheet terminal board 3 which will serve as positive electrode current collector. Here, the terminal boards 1, 3 are provided with margin of at least pi times of the thickness at the end section then said section is folded in round through sealing member 6 and synthetic resin frame 7 to be enclosed. Consequently, sharp edge can be eliminated to prevent danger for damaging the finger when handling. |
