PURPOSE:To make the easy treatment of the recovery ink while making the removal of bubbles possible, by interconnecting an ink tank to an ink recovery part and the ink recovery part to a nozzle pipe discharge part respectively via valves. CONSTITUTION:An ink recovery part 11 is arranged under a nozzle part 9 and for instance, porous absorbing material 21 is filled therein. Because an ink particle becomes not to jet when a bubble is generated in a nozzle pipe 12, the bubble is removed with a purge mechanism part. IN the operation of purge, the valve 31 in a pump chamber 30 is lowered in the direction D, the valve 26 installed to the ink recovery part 11 being displaced from the position of a dotted line to the position of a solid line and a conduit 22 is closed with the valve 24 installed to an ink tank 10. The depressed part 9a of nozzle part 9 becomes of negative pressure, ink 14 is sucked-in and the bubble is removed. The sucked ink is absorbed to the ink absorbing material 21 in the ink recovery part 11 to be recovered. When the purge operation is completed, the ink jet recorder returns to the initial state through a return mechanism. |
