PURPOSE:To enable the sure interception of the fall of the work under transfer by absorbing a work with its bearing by a handling mechanism and by releasing the suction after the transportation. CONSTITUTION:A handling mechanism 12 is waiting between work stations S1, S2 in pressing. After working a mobile truck 11, namely the handling mechanism 12 is moved on the first work station S1 and a work W is absorbed to the suction cup of a fixed arm 14. The mobile truck 11 is then moved to the front part along the transfer direction 2. The hooks 18, 19 of moving arms 15, 16 support the work W for the while. The suction by the suction cup 17 is released with the mutual separation of the moving arms 15, 16 and hooks 18, 19 when the moving truck 11 comes on the second work station S2. The work W is thus placed on the lower die 32 of the second work station S2. The fall of the work W is thus eliminated and the damages of metal dies 31, 32 and work W are prevented.
