<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high dense durable article which is less in size variations, in a copy model for die fabrication, by forming and hardening a compound composed of a cement-like material, ultra-fine powder and a high performance water reducing agent with water as a binder, and further, by using aggregates. CONSTITUTION:A copy model 1 is formed from a cement or cement-like material composed of cement and fly-ash cement, ultra-fine powder of silica dust and silica-like dust, a high performance water reducing agent such as for example, salt of sulfonate melamine-formaldehyde bulk material, and water as a binder. Further, in order to cope with an abrupt design change, for example, granite is used as aggregates so that the copy mode 1 may be ground after hardening. Further, after casting the model is cured at a temperature of 30-60 deg.C for 12-24hr, and then is dried for 5-7 days at the normal temperature. Thereafter, the surface of the mode is coated with lacquer, etc. for use. The copy mode formed by this method is very dense so that it is has a high durability without no substantial size change due to variations in the atmosphere such as, for example, temperature variations.</p> |
