PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging member configured to prevent a stripe image from being formed during image formation due to toner external additive deposited on a surface of the charging member, as well as wear of the surface, and to provide a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus for stably forming a high-quality electrophotographic image.SOLUTION: A charging member with a roughened surface includes a conductive substrate and a conductive resin layer as a surface layer. In the conductive resin layer, fiber assembly particles formed by protein are fixed. The fiber assembly particles are exposed from the conductive resin layer to form a protrusion on the surface of the conductive resin layer. In a process cartridge, the charging member is integrated with an electrophotographic photoreceptor at least, and is detachable from the electrophotographic apparatus body. An electrophotographic device includes the charging member and the electrophotographic photoreceptor to be charged by the charging member. |
