PREVENTING METHOD FOR FLAW AND STAIN OF EXTRUDED SHAPE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of preventing the flaw and stain of a shape material by disposing a shape material protective sheet between an extrusion die and conveyor and covering the required surface of the shape material with the sheet on advancing of the shape material. CONSTITUTION:The coiled shape material protective sheet 5 is disposed behind a roller 4 in the final position of a roller table 2 and some belt-like sheet 6 is let off onto the roller 4. The end of the sheet 6 is hooked to the front end of the molded Al shape material S when the shape material S is fed from an extrusion working device 1. The bottom surface of the material S is covered by the sheet 6 on advancing of the material S. Both side faces of the material S are then covered with the 1st air blower and the sheet 6 thoroughly covers the top surface of the material S in the position of the 2nd air blower 12. The sheet 6 covers all the required surface of the material S in the above-mentioned manner and therefore the efficiency of preventing the flaw and stain on the surface of the material S is improved and the cost is reduced.
