PURPOSE:To enable fuel in a fuel tank to be sucked up entirely by configurating a device in such a way that one of tank walls which faces the other wall of a two-barrel type fuel tank, is made to be moderately inclined so that fuel in a fuel chamber where no fuel tube is arranged, may be allowed to flow out entirely into a fuel chamber at the opposite side. CONSTITUTION:A two-barrel type fuel tank 1A includes a partition plate 5 within the tank at its connecting section 3. This partition plate 5 is arranged to the direction of the tank (1A) depth, and a base 5a of the partition 5 is welded to the bottom 3a of the connecting section 3 by means of spot welding. In addition, the tip end 5b of the partition plate 5 hangovers horizontally upward in a left fuel chamber 2L so as to restrain fuel in the left fuel chamber 2L from flowing out to the connecting section 3 at the time when a car makes a sharp cornering. When the car makes a right turn, fuel in a fuel chamber 2R flows into the left fuel chamber 2L through the connecting section 3. This configuration is capable of preventing both vapor lock and scale deflection from taking place.
