<p>A multi-system television receiver capable of receiving television signals of PAL system, NTSC system and SECAM system with a plurality of different subcarrier wave frequencies, includes a frequency detecting circuit for detecting the frequency of a subcarrier wave of the television signal and producing frequency data representing the detected frequency, a system detecting circuit for detecting the system of the television signal and producing system data representing the detected system, a channel change detecting circuit for detecting a channel change, a holding circuit for holding the frequency data and the system data upon changing of the channel detected by the detecting circuit, and television circuits which are set in a condition in compliance with the broadcast system of the received television signal as determined by the frequency data and the system data.</p> |
