PURPOSE:To enable to elongate life, shorten the warming-up time, and improve heat efficiency by constituting liners made of heat-resistant cast steel which is lined at the inner wall of a rotating cylindrical body in a rotary kiln for incineration treating of heavy oil ashes, etc. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of a cylindrical body 11 having an outer plate 17 made of steel plate, heat-insulating castable refractory 18, and heat-resistant castable refractory 19 are lined and a liner 20 made of heat resistant cast steel is installed on the refractory lining. The liner made of heat-resistant cast steel is divided into a plurality of pieces and is secured to the outer plate 17 by counter sunk holes 21, bolts 22, and nuts 23. By this constitution, heat efficiency is improved, the warming-up time is shortened, and improvement in life is obtained.
