PURPOSE:To move a roof bow to the upper part of a roof rail without contact and prevent the damage of said roof rail, etc. by forming the roof-bow installing portion of an inner which constitutes said roof rail, into an inclined shape corresponding to the end part of said roof bow. CONSTITUTION:When a roof bow 18 is installed on a roof rail inner 12, the roof bow 18 is lifted up from the lower part of a roof rail 11. In this case, since the installing portion 19 of the inner 12 is formed into an inclined shape, a gap exists between the inner 12 and the bent end part 18a of the roof bow 18, up to the installing position of the upper part 19a of the installing portion 19. As a result, the bent end part 18a is moved along the surface of the installing portion 19 without being in contact with the surface, and is first brought into contact with the surface at the installing position of the upper part 19a. Thereby, a damage due to drugging can be prevented at the time of installing the roof bow 18 to the inner 12, and the installing workability can be improved since the roof bow 18 can be lifted up to the upper part 19a position without contact.
