PURPOSE:To reduce a torque ripple with a simple structure by composing a magnet rotor of a ring-shaped magnet, and forming its main pole and an interpole in suitable shapes. CONSTITUTION:A magnet rotor 4 is formed of a ring-shaped magnet. Main poles MP1n, MP1s, MP2n, MP2s adjacent as a pair of magnets are formed in a sufficient main pole width at the side near the other adjacent main pole to the main pole pair, and gradually reduced in the main pole width toward the boundary of the main pole pair. Further, two pairs of interpoles SP11a and SP11b, SP21a and SP21b, SP22a and SP22b which cancel the operation between the stator coils of the respective pairs disposed as pairs with the boundary as a center on the main pole width reducing portion are provided at every main pole pair. |
