PURPOSE:To secure a stable fuel supply at the time of light load, by connecting a reserve tank, which stores only lower pressure than the specified pressure being produced by a suction pipe pressure variation, to the back pressure side of a pressure regulator via a selector valve. CONSTITUTION:A reserve tank 24 is connected to a suction pipe 12 at the downstream side of a throttle valve 13, and only lower pressure than the specified pressure being produced by a suction pipe pressure variation is stored therein. The reserve tank 24 is connected to the back pressure side of a pressure regulator 19 via a selector valve 27 with atmospheric pressure. With this constitution, at the time of light load, fuel pressure is lowerable so that even if a large capacity injector is used, a stable fuel supply is securable at the time of the light load. |
