PURPOSE:To obtain a feed for piscdiculture, appetizing the fish even at a low temperature, having high digestivity and feed efficiency and excellent preservability, and capable of giving fish having high meat quality, by fermenting a mixture of fish or shell fish and a material containing vegetable carbohydrate and protein. CONSTITUTION:A mixture for feed is produced by mixing (A) one or more kinds of materials containing vegetable carbohydrate and protein, e.g. wheat, barley, rice bran, soybean oil cake, etc., and (B) raw fish and/or processing waste of fish or shellfish. The mixture is treated with microorganisms such as funge, yeast, etc., and fermented under aerobic condition to obtain a fermentation product. The objective feed for pisciculture can be produced by using the product as it is or by mixing the product with raw fish and/or fish meal. |
