The present invention relates to amplifiers enabling one or more DC sources to be employed, through switching. To preclude at least all the sources e0-e3 of the amplifier save one e1 from "floating" when opening the switch KO-K" associated with them, this opening, by rendering a pair of diodes d0-d32, d31-d22, d21-d12 passing, places the relevant source in parallel with one of the neighbouring sources and hence precludes the development of overvoltages.
