PURPOSE:To protect the paper from the damage in return thereof in a mechanism for detecting the arrival of sheet-shaped paper for copying machines and other equipment. CONSTITUTION:When the tip of a paper 6 fed from the direction of AR pushes a touch piece 10 in contact therewith, a lever 8 integral constructed with the touch piece and a shaft 9 is turned around the shaft 2 counterclockwise. The lower end of the lever 8 activate a microswitch to be opened or closed whereby the arrival of paper can be detected. When returned or brought the paper 6 causes the touch piece 10 to be turned clockwise on the pin 9 so that the tip thereof can be treated from the paper transferring path quickly. Therefore, in the return of the paper, it is checked from being galled by the detection mechanism and protected from the damage. |
