PURPOSE:To restrain shock in speed change by reducing fuel supply to an engine before the start of drive for disengaging a clutch to reduce beforehand power produced by the engine. CONSTITUTION:An on-off electromagnetic valve 44 and a duty electromagnetic valve 46 provided respectively in a clutch disengaging drive hydraulic circuit 34 and an engaging drive hydraulic circuit 36 are connected to an engine controlling circuit 12 to controllably beforehand reduce fuel supply to the engine according to a predetermined property just before the start of drive for disengaging the clucth and reduce beforehand power produced by the engine. Thus, when the clutch is disengaged the drive torque of the engine is abruptly interrupted without swaying engine so that uncomfortable shock produced in a car body during speed change can be sufficiently restrained. |
