PURPOSE:To prevent creation of leak which is caused by the wear on the side face of the rotary body such as a gear or a vane inside a pump body by pressing a friction board against the side friction face of said rotary body. CONSTITUTION:A friction board 5 is pressed against the side friction face E of the rotary part 3a of a pump body and an adjusting screw 6 which is threaded into a pump cover 8 makes contact with the back face of said friction board 5. Since the adjusting screw 6 is tightened to the pump cover 8 with a loose locking nut 7, the side clearance of the rotary part 3a may be adjusted by turning said loose locking nut 7.
