PURPOSE:To improve reliability by jointing the pad of a cam follower made of Si3N4 group ceramics onto a locker arm body made of forged steel through Al-Si-Mg group alloy by heating and pressing, thus securing the film joint. CONSTITUTION:The pad 2 of a cam follower made of Si3N4 group ceramics is jointed through heating and pressing onto a locker arm body 1 made of forged steel through an Al-Si-Mg group alloy 3. Therefore, the arm body 1 and the pad 2 can be firmly jointed, and reliability can be improved.
