PURPOSE:To improve the reliability for control of a light spot by using the detection output of a means which detects the tilt of an optical disk to control two actuators so that the light beam passes through the shift position of a focus owing to the tilt of the optical disk. CONSTITUTION:The 1st actuator 300 drives with control an objective lens 2 which forms the focus of the light beam on a track of an optical disk 1 in the direction parallel to the surface of the disk 1. While the 2nd actuator 200 controls the deflection of the light beam. The tracking control is given to an optical head which controls both actuators 200 and 300 in response with each other. A means 100 is provided to detect the tilts of optical disks 1 and 1'. Then the detection output of the means 100 is used to control both actuators 200 and 300 so that the light beam passes through the shift position P' of the 2nd focus P which is produced by the tilts of both disks 1 and 1'.
