<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the harmonic waves of an input current and to enable a regenerative braking by using a power converter which is controlled for a pulse-width modulation. CONSTITUTION:A changeover switch SW1 is connected with a side in an AC power supply zone, and a pulse-width-modulation controlled power converter CONV is so controlled that an input current IS supplied from an AC power source becomes a sinusoidal wave of the same phase as a power source voltage VS and a DC voltage Vd becomes a voltage command value. A DC voltage Va is supplied through a VVVF inverter INV to an induction motor IM. The SW1 is connected with a b side and a SW2 is turned ON in a DC power supply zone to supply the voltage of a trolley wire to an inverter INV. At this time, the converter CONV is controlled to generate the prescribed AC voltage. This AC voltage is supplied through a main transformer TR to an auxiliary machine LD.</p> |
