PURPOSE:To enable the miniaturization of the title apparatus, by laminating an immobilized enzyme membrane to a detection element, wherein an anode and a cathode brought to a continuity state by a gel like electrolyte are arranged to an insulating substrate, to form a biosensor and spraying a liquid specimen to said sensor by a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:An anode 2 comprising a silver foil and a cathode 3 comprising a gold foil are provided on an insulating substrate 1 and a gel like electrolyte 4 is applied thereon and an oxygen permeable membrane 5 is arranged on said electrolyte 4. Further, an immobilized enzyme or bacteria membrane 7 and a press plate 9 provided with a window 8 are arranged to be integrated with the substrate 1 to form a biosensor 10. A measuring circuit including a recorder 12 is connected between the anode 2 and the cathode 3 and a buffer solution 17 and air 15 are sprayed to the window 8 from a nozzle 13 and a liquid specimen 16 is subsequently sprayed to calculate glucose concn. from the reduced value of the output current in the liquid specimen. Therefore, the biosensor can be inexpensively prepared and a measuring apparatus can be miniaturized. |
