PURPOSE:To prepare molded articles particularly useful as packaging materials, having excellent transparency, impact resistance and stiffness, consisting of a vinyl- aromatic hydrocarbon and two conjugated diene block copolymers, wherein said conjugated diene polymer block forms a lamellar island phase. CONSTITUTION:Molded articles prepared from the mixture comprising (A) a copolymer consisting of a vinylaromatic hydrocarbon polymer block and a conjugated diene polymer block, and (B) a vinylaromatic hydrocarbon polymer or a copolymer having the same polymer block as that of the copolymer (A), but different from the copolymer (A), wherein the amount of the conjugated diene is 5-45wt%, preferably 10-35wt%. The microstructure is the two-phase structure where the conjugated diene polymer block forms the lamellar island phase having the thickness of smaller than a half of the average length of the longitudinal length and the crosswise length. The impact resistance is further improved when the lamellar structures are regularly arranged to the direction parallel to the surface of the molded article. |
