A short-circuit slide for waveguide trains, especially for reduced millimetric wave waveguides, consisting of a sprung metal plate which is folded into two loops, in such a manner that both loops are larger in diameter than the waveguide height and in such a manner that the first loop which forms the short-circuit is feathered in the longitudinal direction into a plurality of laminates.
