The invention relates to an installation for drying components which are provided with a surface coating, e.g. varnish or the like, with a drying cabin which receives the component(s), an incoming-air duct for the drying air, which opens into the drying cabin, an outgoing-air duct for carrying off the drying air emerging from the drying cabin, as well as filter elements arranged in the incoming-air duct and nozzles arranged in the wall of the drying cabin, which bring about an acceleration of the air, the wall of the drying cabin being designed, apart from the drying air supply and removal, as a closed clean air duct and there being arranged inside this clean air duct in front of the air outlet nozzles fine filter cartridges, the afflux side of which opens into the clean air duct and the flow-off side of which opens into the nozzle.
