PURPOSE:To carry out efficient operation by a few persons without requiring skill, by automating a feeder for feeding twice-folded dried laver sheets to a laver unfolding apparatus, the laver unfolding apparatus and a transferring apparatus for transferring the unfolded dried laver sheets to an accumulation part. CONSTITUTION:A laver unfolding machine capable of arranging many bundles (each bundle containing 10 dried laver sheets) of twice-folded dried laver sheets free of binding paper with the fold down in a feeder 1, feeding each bundle thereof to a laver unfolding apparatus 2, unfolding the twice-folded dried laver sheets of each fed bundle to one or both sides one by one therein, or inserting a flat plate into the fold to unfold the twice-folded dried laver sheets to both sides, placing the unfolded dried laver sheets on top of each other with the front side thereof down and the rear side thereof up, sending the laminated unfolded dried laver sheets to an accumulation part 55 by a transferring apparatus 3 when the number of the laminated unfolded dried laver sheets amounts to, e.g. 5 bundles (50 sheets), collecting the unfolded dried laver sheets for 10 or 100 bundles (100 or 1,000 sheets) and binding or boxing the collected unfolded dried laver sheets. |
