PURPOSE:To stabilize the pumping operation and improve the heat transfer efficiency by installing a liquid holding member which can hold the fluid in liquid phase onto the inner wall of an accumulator and allowing the liquid suction and discharge part and the heating part of the accumulator to hold the sufficient quantity of the fluid in liquid phase. CONSTITUTION:As for accumulators 5A and 5B, a suction and discharge port 11 for inhaling and discharging circulation fluid is opened at one side edge, and a wick 13 consisting of the porous material which can hold the fluid in liquid phase and develops capillary action is applied onto the inside wall and the inner peripheral wall of the suction and discharge port 11. When the accumulators 5A and 5B are heated by a heater 15 together with such constitution, the liquid phase among the inside fluid is always held by the wick 13. Therefore, even in the gravitation-free state, the sufficient quantity of working fluid in liquid phase is held onto the inner wall parts of the accumulators 5A and 5B in which the heater 15 is opposed, and the stable pumping action can be obtained, and the heat transfer with exceedingly high efficiency can be carried out.
