A device for pressing together and bracing neighbouring shuttering elements such as shuttering panels is disclosed, which device has two claws lying opposite each other and manually adjustable with respect to each other by means of a spindle, of which claws one is mounted pivotably on the other. The spindle is positively connected only to the adjustable claw and, for bracing, supports itself on a shoulder of the other claw.
