PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity and durability by forming a porous layer undergoing no pore sealing treatment between a substrate and a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is composed essentially of a conductive substrate 1, preferably, such as aluminum or aluminum alloy; the porous Al2O3 layer 2 having pores not sealed, prepared by electrolyzing aluminum in an electrolytic bath using aluminum as an anode; and an a-Si layer 3 contg. H, having a thickness of 1-100mum, preferably, 2-50mum, and formed by the glow discharge, sputtering, ion plating, and the like method. |
