PURPOSE:To prevent black precipitates due to long storage of a stabilizing soln. for replacing rinse water by processing a photosensitive material with a bleach fixing soln. composed essentially of the ferric complex salt of an org. free acid specified in mol.wt., thiosulfate, and sulfite, and treating it with said rinse replacing soln. for a specified time length. CONSTITUTION:The color developed silver halide color photographic sensitive material is processed with the bleach fixing soln. composed essentially of the ferric complex salt of an org. free acid having a mol.wt. of <=280, thiosulfate, and sulfate, and treated with the stabilizing soln. for replacing rinse water for <=2min, thus permitting fine black precipitates occurring when the stabilizing soln. stays for a long period in this process to be prevented, and yellow stains and edge stains occurring when the photographic image formed by treatment with a reduced replenishing amt. of stabilizing soln. is stored for a long period to be alleviated. |
