A tray loader includes a rail fixed to the load compartment of a vehicle. The rail has a rail part which can roll horizontally there along, which part in turn has a traveller horizontally rollable therealong. The traveller carries a post comprising telescoping parts. A single flexible device such as a chain, aided by the actuation of clutches between the rail part specifically between part 31 and the traveller and between the post and the rail, causes extension of the rail by lowering of the lower end of the post with its attached tray. |
