PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a reference voltage by providing a level difference between inputs of a differential pair and providing a feedback path from the collector of one transistor (TR) of an upper differential pair to a base of the other TR of the lower differential pair. CONSTITUTION:When an input B* goes to a high level, a collector output X' of a TR 1 goes to a high level and an output Q goes to a high level (Hu). A base input b of the TR 4 rises andhigher than a base input a (Ld) of a TR 3, then a constant current I1 flows to a resistor 9 and a TR 4 and the output Q is held to a high level set state even after the set input B* descends to a low level Lu*. When the input B descends to the low level Lu* and the base input (a) of the TR 3 rises at a high level Hd, the constant current I1 flows through the TRs 1, 3 and the output Q goes to the low level Lu. Then the input signal b* to the TR 4 descends to the Ld* and this state is helt even when the set input descends to the low level Ld.
