PURPOSE:To produce a torsion pipe while no torsional force is exerted to the pipe by feeding a starting material between plural rolls matched with the respec tive sides of the finish section. CONSTITUTION:The starting material to be fed between a driving roll 10 and free roll 11 group is fed in the state of maintaining the specified posture and is pressed and deformed to the sectional shape conforming to the arrangement of the rolls 10, 11 while the material passes between the rolls 10 and 11. At the same time these rolls 10, 11 revolve simultaneously and the roll 10 is driven in the feed direction and therefore the pressed and deformed part has the spiral shape meeting the revolving speed and the rotating speed of the roll 10. More specifically, the respective side parts constituting the non-circular section are made continuous to the same spiral shape and therefore the torsion pipe is completed.
