METHOD FOR CONVERTING RADIOGRAPH

PURPOSE:To eliminate noises up to a practical level by using repetitively a conversion panel by allowing an accelerated phosphor layer to include an accelerated phosphor with a specific accelerated exciting spectrum and irradiating light including a specific wavelength to eliminate the noise remaining in the accelerated phosphor layer. CONSTITUTION:A dispersing liquid including the accelerated phosphor where the maximum value of an accelerated exciting spectrum is 600nm or over is coated uniformly on a substrate, which is left one day to form the accelerated phosphor layer with natural drying. A radiant ray is irradiated on the conversion panel 13 thus obtained, an image signal is read by a semiconductor laser, and the conversion panel 13 is irradiated uniformly by using a noise erasure light source 104 irradiating light including the wavelength exceeding mainly 600nm to erase the noise stored in the panel succeedingly. Thus, the noise is erased efficiently up to a level satisfied practically in a short time.
