PURPOSE:To receive a slip of a size of A5 properly and effectively receive one of an image of a transmitted original of a size of A4 by disposing a picture signal storage means capable of storing the picture signal of the size of A5. CONSTITUTION:A receipt signal outputted from a network controller 1 is applied to a demodulating section 2 and converted into a picture signal before a modulation, an output signal of this demodulating section 2 is converted to an original picture signal PX by a decoding section 3. The signal PX is inputted to either one of a memory 8 of a capacity capable of storing the signal PX of the size of A5 or a change-over device 6. When a receiving processing is carried out and a count up signal is outputted, it is judged that the remaining amount of the paper is 0, a control section 9 changes over the change over device 5 to a terminal side 5a and operates the memory 8. Thereby, the picture signal corresponding to a latter half image of the transmitted original is inputted to the memory 8 through the change over device 5, and the transmitted original of the size of A4 is divided into two recording paper of the size of A5 to be outputted and one original of the size of A4 can be effectively received.
