PURPOSE:To set accurately and easily a trimming area by allowing an original picture to move between a specific position to be photographed and a position off an optical path, moving the original picture away from the optical path when the trimming area is set and photographing and displaying the original picture on a monitor screen, and mounting a trimming mask plate on the surface of color photosensitive paper to be exposed and displaying an index line indicating the trimming area. CONSTITUTION:An original picture holder 6 is allowed to move onto a projection part 2' right under a lamp house 3 and the trimming area is set at this position. The selected trimming mask 23 is mounted on an exposure part and then the index line indicating the trimming area is displayed on a monitor 43. For the purpose, a switch part 43 is installed behind the exposure part and a projection is formed at the rear edge of the trimming mask plate 23 to operate different switches corresponding to mask plates of having different opening size. Thus, index lines of size corresponding to the mask plates are displayed on the monitor 43 through a circuit with the respective switches.
