PRODUCTION OF VIBRATION-PROOF BASE PLATE

PURPOSE:To form inexpensively a vibration-proof base plate having required characteristics such as strength and vibration-proof characteristic by heating jigs which pressurize only the required parts of three sheets of the plates to be joined to a specific temp. CONSTITUTION:Three sheets of the plates superposed to steel plate-copper plate to be joined are held in place between the jigs which are preliminarily heated to about <=550 deg.C and are heated, simultaneously with pressurizing, by the heat transmitted from the contact surfaces of the jigs which are brought into contact with each other under the strong pressure. The plates are thereby press-joined. The contamination such as oxidation from the outdoor air is thus prevented and the plates are uniformly heated quickly to the joinable temp. by the heat transmitted from the jigs. The easy joining under the conditions under which the strength of the steel plate is not decreased is made possible.
