PURPOSE:To reproduce a stereoscopic picture by a polarization system without preparing two sets of reproducing devices by reproducing a video signal from two tracks at the same time and individually. CONSTITUTION:M pickup elements constituting a pickup means are disposed separately from each other in the direction of the width of a track, individually and simultaneously scans m tracks on which the video signals of m channels are separately recorded and reproduce the recorded video signals at the same time. Thereby, when the video signals of the m channels are a video signal B for a right eye and a video signal A for a left eye for the stereoscopic picture, the stereoscopic picture can be reproduced by one set of the reproducer. |
