METHOD FOR PROCESSING SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To considerably reduce a change in the development of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material by reduced replenishment when the sensitive material contg. a specified cyan coupler is color developed, by replenishing a replenisher for color development contg. bromide during color development. CONSTITUTION:When replenishment is reduced so as to reduce environmental pollution and cost, a change in the development of a color photographic sensitive material and the stain of the material by development increase. Especially when a silver halide color photographic sensitive material is color developed while a replenisher for color development is replenished by <=9ml per 100cm<2> sensitive material, the unfavorable phenomena increase remarkably. The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains a cyan coupler represented by formula I, II or III and has an emulsion layer contg. core-shell type silver halide particles contg. >=3mol% silver iodide. The concn. of bromide is kept at a value which does not interfere with color development by regulating the amount of bromide in the replenisher for color development to <=3.0X10<-3>mol, so replenishment can be reduced to <=9ml/100cm<3>. The replenisher is preferably replenished by 3-8ml in consideration of evaporation.
