A device for shaping pretzels of dough has the following features: A. Two driven shaping rollers which are arranged alongside one another with parallel axes; B. Shaping troughs which in each case correspond to a pretzel are formed in the peripheral surfaces of the shaping rollers; C. The shaping troughs pass through the nip one above the other in a congruent fashion, thereby forming a shaping cavity which encloses the pretzel; D. A feed device is arranged above the rollers for a striplike strand of dough and E. A reception surface, e.g. a conveyor belt, is provided under the nip for deposition of the pretzel which emerges downwards from the rollers. e
