PURPOSE:To eliminate to detect the abnormal value of humidity during operating the air handling unit and permit to grasp the life of moisture sensitive material by a method wherein the moisture sensitive material is cleaned for a given time under delaying for a predetermined period of time after stopping the air handling unit. CONSTITUTION:The operation stopping means 9 of the air handling unit outputs an operation stopping signal to the air handling unit 17 and outputs a timer start signal 11 to a timer means 11. The timer means 12 outputs a timer output signal 14 to a sensor cleaning starting signal output means 13 when the predetermined time has elapsed after receiving a timer start signal 11. According to the output, a sensor cleaning starting signal output means 13 outputs a sensor cleaning starting signal 15 to a sensor cleaning circuit 21. Thus, the moisture sensitive material 19 is reproduced by the heating of a heater 20 and moisture detection may be effected sufficiently without any trouble.
