PURPOSE:To secure transmission in reorigination by allowing a terminal device which retrieves a terminal device which is necessary during origination while placed in waiting operation during the origination. CONSTITUTION:When a data terminal device 1 performs dialing operation so as to acquire a trunk line, a circuit control part 3 dials its dial signal and informs a central control part 51 of the result. The central control part 51 checks the kinds of terminal devices which are stored in a memory 52 and a memory device 56 checks which kind of terminal the terminal device requires during origination. Then when the terminal device 1 enters waiting operation, the central control part 51 places the data terminal device 1, a modem 2, and a trunk line 6 in a wait state. Thus, when the modem 2 and trunk line 6 become both free, the central control part 51 informs the data terminal device 1 of that through a circuit control part 3. The origination is performed securely since the trunk line 6 and modem 2 are both free when the reorigination is performed in said state.
