PURPOSE:To achieve the attainment of high effciency by embedding a piece consisting of a high grade material excellent in abrasion resistance such as ceramics in a part of cylinder so as to reduce the abrasion of the cylinder and enable to maintain eternally a proper clearance between the cylinder and a vane. CONSTITUTION:It is so constituted that a piece 1 of high grade ingot material or sintered material having abrasion resistance, for example, such as ferrous, copper, ceramic, metal-ceramics compound, carbon, carbon compound of carbon steel, alloy steel, high-speed steel and the like is embedded in the vane slot part 2 of a cylinder 7 of low grade material. Thus, the abrasion of the cylinder 7 can be reduced, and a proper clearance between the cylinder 7 and the vane 4 can be eternally maintained. Accordingly, the enhancement in the efficiency of compression work and significant enhancement in the reliability of products can be achieved. |
