PURPOSE:To enhance electrification characteristics and fixability and to enable a latent image to be developed and fixed satisfactorily by using a binder contg. a cross-linkable polyester and an epoxy resin having an epoxy equiv. of >=1,500 in an amt. of <=95wt% of the binder. CONSTITUTION:The binder contains the cross-linkable polyester prepared by polymerizing polyol and polybasic acid, one of both being a polyfunctional component having >=3 valences, such as sorbitol as the polyol, and 1,2,4- benzenetricarboxylic acid as the acid, and the epoxy resin having an epoxy equiv. of >=1,500 in an amt. of <=95wt%, preferably 50-90wt% of the binder, and when >95wt%, offset trouble is liable to occur. A toner is prepared by adding a colorant and other necessary additives to said binder. |
