PURPOSE:To enable to nearly perfectly remove the malodor at the fire extinction for a long term by forming a structure wherein a porous plate catalyzer is arranged in a vaporized gas ascending passage at a position higher than a fuel feeding port and the main combustion zone of mixed gas is formed above the plate catalyzer. CONSTITUTION:A porous plate catalyzer 5 is arranged in a vaporized gas ascending passage at a position higher than a fuel feeding port 4 in a pot 1. The mixed gas past through the porous plate catalyzer 5 is caused to be burnt completely in a main combustion zone located above the pot 1. The temperature of the completely burnt mixed gas does not rise extremely high and remains to be as low as the temperature of a mixing member 3. Further, though the catalyst has little effect during normal combustion, the porous plate catalyzer 5 completely oxidizes the vaporized gas, the amount of which becomes smaller, after the fire extinguishing operation. On the other hand, even the state that dense vaporized gas exists on the bottom surface 1' of the pot 1 just after the fire extinction occurs, said dense vaporized gas gradually disperse and passes through the plate catalyzer 5 and consequently no malodor is discharged outside a burner.
