The invention relates to equipment of the tether type for sheep. The feeding rack according to the invention comprises a frame 1 supported by feet 2 and composed of two horizontal rectilinear links 3 between which are arranged, in an alternate manner, vertical rectilinear links 4 and oblique rectilinear links 5, the "tip" gaps inscribed between the latter being closed off by a metal sheet 6. A piece 7, in the shape of an inverted T, is articulated on an axis of rotation 8 arranged at the bottom of each oblique rectilinear link 5. It is equipped at its lower end with a lever arm 9 lowered by the ewe, which lowers its head in order to eat and which thus rocks the piece 7 which locks, by means of an articulated ratchet 10, behind the lug 11 of the control bar 12. The present invention is suitable for the automatic tethering of ewes. <IMAGE>
