<p>The container is of polyethylene (PE) or a duro-plastic material. Running along at least one part of the container is a bead-like profile (7). In producing such a container, for example in accordance with the sintering process, a plastic body (1) is produced as a closed hollow body in a rotational mold and then ripped open along a trim line (8) running parallel to the bead-like profile (7) in such a way that a gutter profile is produced which closes off the edge of the body and projects to the inside of the container. Containers can be produced in small or medium quantities which have a closing-off edge which is convex towards the inside. Thanks to these profile edges and to the possibility of maintaining constant the thickness of the walls of the container, even in the corner areas, high load capacity containers can be produced even in small quantities under conditions which make them competitive. Such containers have good shape-holding characteristics, even in the area of the edges and when heavy demands are made upon them. The profile edges turned towards the inside is particularly suitable for use as a holding device for container linings.</p> |
