PURPOSE:To execute exactly a fault test without a person's help, and to confirm a fault processing state by inhibiting the updating of system constituting information, which follows generation of a fault, by a software. CONSTITUTION:When a fault is generated in accordance with an instruction for generating a spurious fault, a service processor 1 sends out system constituting information 100 containing fault information, but it is inhibited by an updating inhibiting signal 101 by a gate circuit 13, therefore, the contents of a constituting information storage register 14 are not updated. At the same time, the generation of the fault is informed to a processor 4, the processor 4 requests to detach the processor 3, and the detachment is executed through a constitution control register 15 of a device 2. Next, when the device 4 requests to integrate the processor 3, the processor 1 sends out the contents of the register 14 to the register 15, instructs to integrate it and performs the integration. Also, when the processor 4 request to release the inhibition of updating, the processor 1 stops sending out an updating inhibiting signal 101 which is being sent out by a constituting information updating inhibiting part 12. |
