<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for mounting a component in which even when an image recognizing process of a holding state of all components is not completed, a mounting work of the component on a circuit body can be conducted concurrently with the recognition process of the image, thus a time required for mounting the component is efficiently shortened and a productivity is improved. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device has an output unit which can output an image imaged by an imaging element to a recognition processing unit, and a selector for selecting one of a plurality of the imaging elements and outputting the image imaged by the element via the output unit. After the image is imaged, the elements are sequentially selected by the selector, the images are sequentially output from the selected element by the output unit to the processing unit, which sequentially processes to recognize the images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
