PURPOSE:To make a disk player small in size as a whole and to decrease the cost by making the central distance of the first and second disk holding surfaces equal to the rotating distance of the first and second spindle motors. CONSTITUTION:A disk holding part 5 is provided with the first circular disk holding surfaces 5a and 5b to hold an optical type video disk 14 mounted on the first spindle motor 13, and the second circular disk holding surface 5c to hold a compact disk 18 mounted on the second spindle motor 19. The first two disk holding surfaces 5a and 5c are mutually concentrically formed at the central part of the disk holding part 5, and the second disk holding surface 5c is provided in the vicinity of the edge part in the projecting direction of the disk holding part. The central distance of the first disk holding surfaces 5a and 5b and the second disk holding surface 5c is made equal to the central distance of the rotation of the first and second spindle motors 13 and 19.
